Paper pattern to complete a double-layer twirl skirt with a Mod Blooms applique template, sizes 2T, 3T, 4T, 5T, 6 and 7.

A double layer twirl skirt designed with the beginner in mind, with no zippers, buttons or snaps, just a couple of casings. It can be made with or without the drawstring detail and fuller or slimmer as desired. An applique template and instructions for the Mod Blooms are included for adding to a purchased top.

Supplies needed (full skirt):
2T: 2/3 yard (overskirt and waistband), 2/3 yard (underskirt and drawstring casing)
3T: 3/4 yard (overskirt and waistband), 2/3 yard (underskirt and drawstring casing)
4T, 5T, 6 and 7: 1 yard (overskirt and waistband), 3/4 yard (underskirt and drawstring casing)
About 18" to 24" (depending on child's size) of 3/4" non-roll elastic for the waistband
For the applique: fabric scraps at least 5" x 5", 1 package medium-width ric-rac for stems, and 1/4 yard each of Heat-N-Bond Lite, Sulky Tear-Away Stabilizer and Pellon Easy-Knit
