Paper pattern to make an e-reader cover and holder, finished size approximately 9 1/2" x 5 3/4", just the right size for most small e-readers (Kindle, Nook, Sony). E-readers are not included.

The Reader has a removable wrist strap, a front pocket that can hold a small writing tablet, passport or boarding pass, a read-through vinyl pocket that also protects the e-reader, and a place to stash a pen or stylus. Basic sewing skills required.

Shopping list: 3/4 yard of cotton fabric for the holder
Two coordinated or contrasting fat quarters of cotton fabric for front pocket and lining (optional)
One 7" x 10" piece of 12 gauge clear vinyl
1/2 yard Pellon fusible fleece
1/4 yard Pellon fusible Easy-Shaper interfacing
12 - 20 coated paper clips
One swivel hook with attached 3/4" D ring
One 3/4" D ring
8" piece of trim (optional)
One Velcro button set (optional)
One special button 1/2" or larger
One 4" piece of elastic cord, or elastic hair cord/tie to match your fabric
Thread to match fabrics
